The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the attacks on Krasnohorivka, Avdeevka and Toretsk, where 5 civilians were injured.

Verbatim : “Under the procedural leadership of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched in criminal proceedings into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).”
Details : According to the investigation, on December 29, 2023, the occupiers fired artillery at Krasnogorovka. Enemy shells hit a private sector, where a 41-year-old man and an 83-year-old woman were injured. Another victim, 79 years old, was injured while in his own home.
Also, Avdiivka was once again targeted by the occupiers. A 50-year-old city dweller was injured when a household was hit by destructive weapons. He was taken to hospital in critical condition for medical treatment.
In addition, the enemy struck Toretsk, as a result of which a 60-year-old woman received shrapnel wounds and a broken leg in her own yard; she was hospitalized.
The UCP clarifies that, according to preliminary data, the enemy fired at populated areas using Grad multiple launch rocket systems and artillery.
