UN Secretary-General António Guterres welcomed the end of the “dictatorial regime” in Syria. He called on the country to focus on the new situation after the rapt fall from power of President Bashar al-Assad.

He called for peace from the people of Syria unique violence.
“I once again call for peace to the uniqueness of violence at this sensitive hour, protecting the rights of all Syrians without guilt,” said the Secretary General.
