Yuriy Boyko published a pro-Russian statement about “radicals renaming cities” the day before.

Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak said that some politicians in Ukraine are spreading Russian narratives in the midst of a full-scale war with Russia.
“Some politicians forget that it is the defense of Ukraine and victory over Russia, and not the spread of Russian narratives, that is the key goal now,” Yermak wrote in Telegram.
This is how he responded to how the head of the former co-chairman of the Opposition Platform – For Life party, banned in 2022, Yuriy Boyko, posted a statement on the social network TikTok in which he declared support for people who allegedly suffer from some “radicals” in Ukraine and seem to be banned from speaking their native language.

The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Kovalenko, emphasized that the words that came from Boyko's mouth “are usually spread by Russians and about violence against people, without mentioning Russia.
“I want to remind Boyko that the only ones who commit violence against Ukrainians are Russians. With martyrs, missiles, ammunition, soldiers. They are destroying entire cities. And it would be very useful if a people's deputy (if of course he “works for Ukraine”) publicly constantly reminded about this. To put it mildly, it is outrageous,” Kovalenko wrote.
