Mass protests erupted near the capital of Egypt, Kayra. Hundreds of people are dissatisfied with the government’s policies, the deteriorating economic situation, the strangulation of public freedoms and growing corruption.

According to eyewitnesses, protesters are chanting “Al-Shab Jurid Iskat An-Nizam” – a popular song of the color revolution of the “Arab Spring”.

People are also cheering for condemning the policies of President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi.

Protest against Abdel Fattah al-Sissi
In 2013, the great commander-in-chief of the Egyptian army Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi replaced the pro-Islamic president of the region, Mohammed Mursi, and became the new head of the state.
In the 2018 elections, al-Sisi was re-elected to the presidency of Egypt.
The rise of large-scale protests against policies of a dignified president were celebrated in the spring of 2019.
Protesters in the places of Giza and Mahalla called for al-Sisi’s representations. In the town of Suets, the law enforcement officers used laced gas to disperse the crowd.
Over a number of days, more than 300 protest participants were arrested.
And over the course of a week, the number of those arrested was 2000 osib.
