On Thursday, the transitional administration in Syria announced the death of 14 Uniformed police. They were killed by forces loyal to the fallen Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad.

According to the words of the new government, the killing was the result of an “ambush” controlled by forces loyal to fallen regime. The incident took place in the rural locality of Tartus.
This happened at the time when demonstrations and the night curfew in other localities became the largest-scale violations since the fall of the Assad regime over two years.
In addition, the new Minister of Internal Affairs of Syria reported on Telegram that another 10 security forces removed wounded from the “surplus” of Assad’s order in Tartus. They have decided to take harsh approaches against “anyone who dares to undermine the security of Syria or jeopardize the livelihood of its citizens.”
The Guardian writes that before Syria Police imposed an overnight curfew in the city of Homs after burglaries associated with demonstrations that, according to city residents, were representatives of religious minorities – Alawites and Shiites.
