Registration for UN payments in Zaporizhia region: dates, addresses and criteria

Residents of the Zaporizhzhia region who have suffered as a result of the war can receive financial assistance from the UN. The amount of payments is 3,600 hryvnias per family member for three months. However, to receive funds, certain criteria must be met, in particular, the monthly income per person in the family must not exceed 5,400 hryvnias, writes IZ. 

Several categories of the population can apply. Among them are internally displaced persons who moved no more than six months ago, people who returned to Ukraine after forced evacuation abroad, as well as those who returned to their place of permanent residence from other regions due to military operations, starting from February 24, 2022. In addition, only families that meet the vulnerability criteria can apply for assistance. This includes families with one parent raising children, families headed by the elderly, or those with people with disabilities or chronic diseases.

Registration is carried out on a first-come, first-served basis. A mobile group of specialists will work in designated settlements of the Zaporizhia region. On January 27, applications will be accepted in the village of Petro-Mykhailivka at 70 Myru Street in the village council building. The next day, January 28, applications will be submitted in Novomykolaivka at 89 Ivan Klymchuk Street, in the social protection department. And on January 29, registration will continue in the village. Mykhailivka in the house of culture on Slobodchykova Street, 13. All locations will be open from 10:00 to 15:00.
