The UK will provide Ukraine with up to £2 billion for the purchase of air defense systems and air defense missiles, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
Today, the government approved a bill on ratification of the Framework Agreement between Ukraine and the UK on supporting the development of our defense capabilities.
This agreement also provides funds for the organization of repair bases for military equipment and other weapons. Such bases will also be located in Ukraine.
- In January, Ukraine and Britain signed a historic 100-year agreement. The agreement includes a defense block, economic and technological elements, cooperation in the information and cultural spheres. Britain will allocate more than $6 billion to Ukraine in 2025 alone.
