Vladimir Putin made another statement regarding the political situation in Europe after Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election. The Russian dictator expressed the opinion that European leaders are allegedly forced to accept new conditions and submit to the position of the new American president, writes IZ.
In Putin's opinion, European countries unsuccessfully tried to influence the US elections, but now they will have to adapt to the new political reality. He is convinced that Trump will quickly put things in order in relations with Europe, forcing it to act in accordance with its own interests. According to the Kremlin leader, political changes in Europe will take place in the near future, and countries that opposed Trump's policy will be forced to agree to his conditions.
It is worth noting that during the election campaign, Trump repeatedly expressed sympathy for Putin and stated that he could quickly end a full-scale war in Ukraine. However, after being elected president, he clarified that more time may be needed to achieve such a result. At the same time, the US administration is actively discussing possible scenarios for resolving the war, in particular, an option that provides for up to 100 days to make a strategic decision.
Recall that we previously wrote that the Trump administration is considering the possibility of holding elections in Ukraine.
