Lieutenant Colonel Krotevich completes the service of defense and leaves the position of Chief of Staff of the 12th Brigade. His path in Azov began in 2014, when he came to the unit as an infantry. Thanks to discipline, demanding and professionalism, he grew rapidly in a military hierarchy, becoming a platoon commander, and later by the Chief of Staff. With the onset of a full -scale invasion, it became a key figure in the defense of Mariupol, and after returning from the Russian captivity in 2022, he undertook the restoration and scaling of the unit to the level of the brigade. In particular, he coordinated the actions of Azov during the counter -offensive in 2023 in the Zaporozhye direction, and later participated in the planning of defense and offensive operations in the Kremin and Toretsky directions.
however, the impact of Tavra goes far beyond its unit. He became one of those who joined the reform of the Ukrainian army, motivating civilians to join the defense forces.
