Zaporizhzhia has been recording an abnormally high air temperature for the second day in a row. As IZ reports with reference to ZPRZ, on March 15 the thermometer rose to 23.7°C, which is 4.8°C higher than the previous record for this day, recorded in 2014. The average daily temperature also broke the record, amounting to 14.0°C.
The absolute record for the maximum temperature in March for Zaporizhia still remains for March 31, 2024, when the thermometers showed 24.5°. However, this year's warming continues, and the indicators may be updated. Meteorologists explain such high temperatures by the influence of Atlantic cyclones.
Earlier, records were recorded in Zaporizhia on March 14, when the air temperature also exceeded previous indicators. Current weather conditions contribute to the early flowering of primroses, in particular on Khortytsia Island, where scientists are observing a significant spread of ephemeroids.
Recall that we previously wrote that the investigation is checking the reconstruction of six houses in Zaporizhia.
