US Vice President J.D. Vance takes the position that there is an energy truce between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. The statement came after attacks on Ukrainian objects over the past few days.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine, which responded to Vence’s application, as it was made at the American airbase “Pituffik” near Greenland.
“We trust, but we re-verify. We reconsider that those we see on one side are concluding on the other side, and in spite of that. But I think that we have achieved incredible progress,” he said Vin.
Vance noted that US President Donald Trump “is going to fight hard,” and, in his words, the United States “will continue to achieve progress.”
“We obviously have a fire on the energy infrastructure. We have a truce before trade in the Black Sea, which, I think, may have been achieved,” Vance said.
Having added that after the truce on the Black Sea, we can begin to look at the further horizons of the fire.
Energy truce
It is likely that earlier President Volodymyr Zelensky, having taken the first steps to regulate the war, would impose a regime of quiet in the wind and at sea. After the conflict between the Ukrainian and US teams in Saudi Arabia on 11 February, the American side was constantly pushing for a truce. Ukraine responded to the proposal, but the Russian Federation did not provide any residual support.
Just before the break, US President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Volodymyr Putin were constantly talking about launching strikes on the energy sector. Meanwhile, Russia continues its attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure.
Having informed the Ukrainian President's adviser of Dmitry Lithuania's communication, Russia delivered at least two blows to Ukraine's energy sector. Apparently, Naftogaz facilities have been under attack for days.
