Polish Ambassador to Turkey Maciej Lang claims that 77 are involved in helping Ukrainian refugees.

As Ukrinform reports, at an event in Ankara, the diplomat announced statistics according to which 2 million Ukrainians arrived in Poland in the first month after February 24.

“Nobody was ready for this. Our borders looked like an endless river of people. The Poles came to the border to take the Ukrainians,” Lang said.

Thus, the Polish the authorities were able to do without creating refugee camps, because Polish families accommodated them in their homes.
