The document united 25 states in condemning Russian aggression and the conviction that support for Ukraine should be unwavering.
Permanent Council of the OAD permanent Council of the OAD, uniting the countries of the two American continents, for the second On the anniversary of the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, it adopted a declaration in which it expressed “unwavering support” for our country.
Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba announced this decision on his page on the X network. He thanked the 25 states that took part in the development of the document, and especially Antigua and Barbudi for its presentation and Argentina for its chairmanship of the OAS Permanent Council.
“Both America and Ukraine are united. We all speak a common language, the language of democracy, freedom, human rights and international laws. Russia chose the language of war, for which it was rightly expelled from the OAS two years ago,” – stated the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
When considering the declaration, Ukraine’s position before the Rada was defended by the Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova.
