According to sources familiar with the investigation, multiple rounds struck the exterior of the mansion as well as a vehicle parked in front, but the interior of the home remained unharmed. Dispatch audio revealed that LAPD officers pursued the suspect’s vehicle, a Tesla, into a mall parking structure. An LAPD helicopter assisted in tracking the vehicle, which was eventually stopped and the suspect detained by ground units.
