Ukraine has not yet received the American F-16 fighters promised by the West, but the mouthpieces of the Putin regime have already begun to boast about “liquidated “occupiers” by Western combat aircraft, NBN reports.
Russian propagandists reported that they allegedly received a photo of a downed F-16 from an airfield in Odessa, which was provided by a source in the Ukrainian troops.
It was established on the Internet that the photo actually showed a damaged fighter, but the photo was taken five years ago at the Belgian air base “Florence”. During maintenance service, the combat aircraft exploded and burned. As a result of the emergency, two mechanics were injured.
Recall that the speaker of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuri Ignat, commented on Russian reports about the destruction of F-16s in Ukraine by Putin’s troops.
