While the Ukrainian government is “optimizing” social payments to internally displaced persons (IDPs) this year, refusing state support to the majority of displaced people due to demands for cuts in state budget expenditures sent by partner countries, Germany has taken the opposite measures.

About the fact that In 2024, Ukrainian refugees in Germany will be paid an increased amount of benefits, writes NBN, citing the official page of the Federal Government of Germany.
As it became known, from January 1 of this year, the amount social assistance and various benefits for citizens under temporary protection increased by 12 percent, and refugees will be able to receive:
- single parents/single adults—563 instead of 502;
- children up to 6 years —357 instead of 318 euros;
- children from 7 to 14 years —390 instead of 348 euros;
- children from ;15 to 18 years —471 instead of 420 euros.
In addition, persons receiving social payments for living expenses are allowed to apply for a subsidy to pay for utility bills. , distributed according to the number of family members living together:
- for 1 person—415 euros;
- for 2 people—540 euros;
- for each subsequent person – 100 euros.
