About the fact that Putin's army is able to use the above-described long-term failure to provide ammunition and other military equipment by Washington to Kiev to its advantage, writes NBN, citing the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
ISW analysts believe that the Russian occupation forces will be able to make a breakthrough on the front line in a scenario involving a delay in the supply of weapons to the Ukrainian army, as well as a subsequent reduction in such supplies.
In particular, the occupiers retain initiatives throughout the entire theater of combat operations, increases the risks of this scenario, thereby allowing the Russian generals, at their own discretion, to increase or decrease the scale of offensive operations at any point in the front line.
At the Institute for the Study of War “added: sources in the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that in almost all Ukrainian units and formations there is a general shortage of ammunition, and some units of the defenders can hold their current defensive positions solely due to the fact that Putin’s army is not attacking in full force.”
