The American publication Politico writes that 63 MEPs demand that Hungary be deprived of the right to vote in the European Union because of Orban’s “peace tour,” NBN reports.
In In connection with the visits of the representative of Budapest to the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China, members of the European Parliament appealed to the leadership of the organization, saying that the Hungarian Prime Minister had caused significant damage by abusing his state's presidency of the Council of the EU.
According to them, a simple verbal condemnation the actions of the representative of Budapest, as practice has shown, do not produce results, so they call on the leadership of the organization to deprive Hungary of the right to vote in the Council of the EU for its unlawful chairmanship.
Recall that Putin’s speaker Dmitry Peskov commented on Orban’s words about Trump’s possible mediation on negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
