After the Russian offensive began on May 10 in the border area, it became known that the Kharkiv OVA was responsible for the negligent construction of the third and partially second line of defense in the region, and after an inspection conducted by the temporary investigative commission (created by the Verkhovna Rada), at least abandoned anti-tank “dragon teeth” were discovered, which did not even reach the front line.

As reported by NBN with reference to the material of Espresso, the head of the anti-corruption center “Mezha” Martyna Boguslavets said – NABU initiated the opening of a criminal case concerning the possible embezzlement of budget funds during the purchase of timber needed for the construction of fortifications in the Kharkiv region
According to Boguslavets, the “Mezha” team was able to force NABU detectives to open a criminal case through a ruling of the investigative judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court. In particular, the anti-corruption center already has the case number entered into the Unified State Register of Pre-Trial Investigations.
Thus, based on the above number, representatives of the Kharkiv community, activists from the administrative center of the region itself, as well as all concerned citizens will be able to track the progress of the case regarding the possible theft of public funds for the construction of fortifications.
Earlier, we wrote about what percentage of Ukrainians are sure that NABU is ineffective in combating corruption.
