As NBN reports with reference to the official X-account of the UK Ministry of Defense, this operation by Ukraine has caused the loss of a huge amount of ammunition, which, with a high degree of probability, will negatively affect the actions of Putin's army.
In particular, the damaged facility stored various caliber shells used by the “liberators” at the front, as well as different types of missiles and guided/guided bombs, which are used to equip enemy aircraft at nearby airfields. In addition, the Tver arsenal contained North Korean ammunition.
British military intelligence analysts are confident that 30,000 tons of various shells and missiles were stored in warehouses in Toropets.
As a result, due to the “careless” storage of ammunition in the open, the drone strike by Ukraine caused a chain reaction, which led, among other things, to explosions in the bunker system, as a result of which a “huge amount” of resources were lost, and this “will disrupt Russian ground operations”, especially in the Kursk region.
