The press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that at night the “second army of the world” was left without another plane – a Tu-134 was burned at a military airfield in the aggressor country, NBN reports.
Budanov's office specified that the “bird” belonged to the 117th military transport aviation regiment of the Russian Armed Forces. The plane, which the Russians used in particular to transport the personnel of the defense department of the terrorist state, was burned at the airfield of Putin's army “Orenburg-2”.
Ukrainian intelligence published footage of the operation, but did not disclose other details of the destruction of the Tu-134.
It should be noted that last month in the Russian Federation two incidents with the burning of Mi-8s became known. On September 11, two schoolchildren set fire to a helicopter on the airport grounds in Noyabrsk – only its tail remained. Security forces detained the teenagers.
On September 23, a similar multi-purpose helicopter was set on fire in Omsk on the territory of a military unit. The “sabotage” was also carried out by two schoolchildren, and law enforcement officers arrested them. A photo of the occupiers' “bird” that was damaged by the fire was published online.
