Since October 10, Putin's army has stepped up counterattacks in the Kursk region, seeking to “squeeze” the Defense Forces out of the region before weather conditions deteriorate significantly.

As reported by NBN with reference to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to “infiltrate” the forest area to the west of Zhuravlevka in the Belgorod region, but failed to gain a foothold.
ISW analysts note that the above-described attempt to penetrate was undertaken through the border with the Russian Federation, which runs north of Kharkov and northwest of the “Russian salient” in an identical part of the Kharkov region. The test entry into enemy territory was carried out against the backdrop of intensified counterattacks by the “liberators”, who were distracted by the assault on the Defense Forces bridgeheads in the Kursk region.
At the same time, the Institute for the Study of War claims that the “second army of the world” has advanced somewhat in the Kursk region: south of Zeleny Shlyakh (southeast of Korenevoy) and entered into combat clashes near Lyubimovka, Malaya Loknya, Novoivanovka, and south of Sudzha near Plekhovo.
Earlier, our information portal wrote about how the Kremlin is trying to motivate Russians to more actively defend Kursk region.
