As NBN reports with reference to InterPressNews material, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze a statement was made – such a step by Ukraine testifies to the “difficult situation of the Ukrainian government.”
Based on Kobakhidze's words, Kyiv's situation is currently critical, and the decision to impose sanctions on the de facto pro-Russian government of Georgia is an echo of this very complicated situation.
The Georgian Prime Minister believes – the introduction of these restrictions indicates that the Ukrainian government has never been independent, and “someone” is trying to complicate the situation as much as possible for the new White House administration, in particular, by putting pressure on the Georgian region and simultaneously worsening relations between Kyiv and Tbilisi.
Kobakhidze summarized:
Whatever decision the Ukrainian government makes, we remain loyal to this country and its people. We are in solidarity with this country and these people.
