The attitude of Ukrainians towards Poles has worsened during the full-scale war, sociologists explained what events between the countries this is connected with.

Results of a social survey conducted by the Ukrainian company Info Sapiens on behalf of the Center Mieroszewski from November 1 to 11, showed that the level of sympathy of Ukrainian citizens towards the Poles has fallen, the NBN publication reports with reference to Rzeczpospolita.
The majority of Ukrainians (53%) said that they are neutral towards the residents of the neighboring country, 37% of respondents said that they treat them well, and 4% – very well. At the same time, 4% of the study participants admitted that they have a bad attitude towards the Poles, and 1% – very bad. 1% of respondents could not answer the sociologists' question.
In 2022, 46% of Ukrainians had a very good attitude towards the citizens of the neighboring state, 37% – well, 15% – neutral, 2% – could not decide on the answer. The indicators “bad” and “very bad” were missing.
Sociologists in the report note that the attitude of Ukrainians towards residents of the neighboring country worsened after the protests of Polish farmers on the border. The exploitation of historical fears of the Russian Federation also affects the mood of society.
