The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry said in an interview with propagandists that Moscow is ready to “consult on Ukraine” with the administration of the 47th American president, writes the NBN publication with reference to the Interfax agency.
Putin's diplomat expressed hope that the newly elected American leader and the special representative of America for Ukraine and Russia appointed by him, Keith Kellogg, “will delve into the root causes of the conflict.”
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again said that Moscow is open to any negotiations if they are about the principles voiced by the Kremlin dictator in June, since the Kremlin will not accept “empty talk.”
The US special representative for Ukraine and Russia appointed by Trump earlier called the Minsk agreements a failed attempt to reach an agreement with Moscow. In response, Putin's minister said that the relevant agreements were “a decision of the UN Security Council that was trampled.”
Recall that at the beginning of the month, Lavrov's deputy said that the Russian authorities are ready to consider the proposals of the newly elected American leader on Ukraine.
