Yesterday, December 26, Russian media wrote that the head of the MFA of the aggressor country, Sergei Lavrov, stated that Paris “repeatedly” approached Moscow with a proposal to return to the issue of Ukraine, excluding the participation of Kiev.

As reported by NBN, citing NV material, Foreign Ministry spokesman Georgy Tikhyi made a comment: Kyiv will never believe Lavrov’s words regarding the above-described “proposals” from France, allegedly sent to the Kremlin through “closed channels,” and concerning contacts to resolve the war issue without Ukraine’s participation.
Based on Tikhyi’s words, there is no reason to trust yet another Russian lie, unlike Ukraine’s partners, who confirm their loyalty to Kiev with their actions.
The spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry believes that the purpose of Lavrov's comments is clear enough – sowing discord between Ukraine and France, as well as other allies, which is Russia's comprehensive strategy, which Moscow permanently adheres to.
Separately, Tikhiy added – Lavrov is not only a criminal who is directly responsible for the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, but also a pathological liar who claimed that “the bombing of the maternity hospital in Mariupol, the atrocities of Russians in Bucha – these are productions, these are fakes.”
The representative of the Foreign Ministry summed it up:
It seems to me that after these words, accepting any of his [Lavrov's] revelations is not respecting yourself. We [Ukraine] have no reason to believe this lie.
