24-year-old Brazilian Vinicius Junior was shown a red card in the 79th minute of the Real Madrid game against Valencia after the referees noticed a push in the face of opposing goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievsky.

As NBN reports with reference to Marca's material, it appears that Vinicius Junior will be disqualified for a smaller number of games for the aforementioned red card in the rescheduled match of the 12th stage of La Liga.
In particular, La Liga's management intended to punish Vinicius more harshly by excluding the player from 4 matches, however, if the Macedonian goalkeeper's provocative actions are overestimated, the Brazilian's retaliatory measures will not be classified as an act of open aggression.
Taking all of this into account, Vinicius will probably not be on the pitch for the next two games, but could feature in the Spanish Super Cup final on Sunday, January 12, if Real Madrid beats Mallorca on Thursday, January 9.
