As reported by NBN with reference to the material of Espresso, the head of the Chasovoyarsk city military administration (GVA) Sergei Chaus made a statement that despite the worsening situation in this settlement, more than 200 citizens ignored calls for evacuation.
Based on Chaus's words, the situation in Chasovoy Yar is now more reminiscent of hell – intense military action continues on the territory of the community. At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces units continue to hold some defensive positions on Chasovo-Yarsk land, since they are “ready to give their lives to protect every meter.”
The head of the GVA added that about 220 people did not leave the city and are now trying to survive, since the population simply did not respond to the authorities’ calls for evacuation, and it is “very difficult” to prove the need for such measures.
