As reported by NBN, citing an explanation voiced by the spokesman of the operational-strategic group of forces (OSGV) “Khortitsa” Viktor Tregubov on the air of the telethon on the YouTube channel “TSN”, the combat situation near the settlement of Velyka Novosyolka in the Donetsk region remains very difficult.
Based on Tregubov's words, the situation in the vicinity of Velikaya Novosyolka is actually quite complicated—the Russian occupation army has set itself the goal of fully encircling the village.
However, the representative of “Khortitsa” added—the Defense Forces command has set the task of preventing such encirclement, having drawn up “certain plans.” In particular, in order to keep the complicated situation under control, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky visited the area of responsibility of the Joint Forces Group “Khortytsya” and considered some options for resolving this crisis.
Thus, “the situation is in the focus of attention” of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
