As NBN reports with reference to the official Telegram profile of Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal, instead of the outdated structure of the Medical and Social Expertise Commission, a network consisting of 294 multidisciplinary medical institutions has been formed in the country.
Based on Shmyhal’s words, more than 1,400 expert teams of 6,600 medical workers trained in the necessary specialties are involved in the work in the above-mentioned hospitals.
Also, thanks to the introduction of digitalization of this process, patients no longer need to collect a huge number of certificates from various doctors, since data in e-format is transferred between institutions and information systems in various areas.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers has identified the agency that will be responsible for subsequent coordination of the reform, which Shmyhal emphasized:
…Now it is the responsibility of the Ministry of Social Policy. We must develop an approach that will help people get broad opportunities for rehabilitation and self-realization.
