As reported by NBN with reference to the material of Corriere Della Sera, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine (OPU) Andriy Yermak gave an explanation refuting rumors regarding the government’s preparations for summer elections.

Based on Yermak's words, the above information, published by The Economist, is absolute nonsense, since it is impossible to plan elections until the fighting in the country ceases.

The head of the OPU emphasized that the first priority is to end the war, and only then think about the expression of the will of the population.

It should be noted that the chairman of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, reported similar information, emphasizing that all parliamentary parties and groups agreed that the elections should take place only six months after the lifting of martial law.

Earlier we wrote that the Central Intelligence Directorate was clarifying Syrsky’s statement about the beginning of the occupiers’ offensive in Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
