In an interview with the British publication The Telegraph, the head of the Armenian government said that from the very beginning the invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine, his country was not an ally of a terrorist state, NBN reports.

According to the politician, Yerevan may reconsider membership in the CSTO. The Armenian authorities are being pushed to take such a step by discussions within the country about whether a strategy based on the Collective Security Treaty Organization corresponds to the long-term interests of the state.

The Prime Minister also spoke about the integration of his state into the North Atlantic Alliance. Pashinyan noted that NATO membership is not an issue that the country’s leadership has discussed or is discussing.

Recall that Yerevan ignored the latest meetings of the CSTO member countries, which took place in Minsk and Moscow. At the same time, the Kremlin believes that this organization is supposedly still relevant.
