Tusk said that during his first visit to Kiev he discussed with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky Warsaw’s position regarding Polish business, NBN reports with reference to RMF24.

The head of the Polish government noted that Warsaw wants to help Ukraine as a state and its citizens as a people in the confrontation with Russian invaders, and on this issue its position remains unchanged.

At the same time, as the politician said, Polish authorities do not want anyone in Ukraine to use the openness and empathy of their country for unfair and unequal competition with Polish farmers.

The Prime Minister warned that if the discontent of Polish farmers is ignored, this could lead to the growth of anti-Ukrainian sentiments. Tusk added that the neighboring state must respect the interests of representatives of the Western world if it does not want to break the allies’ desire to help it.

Recall that Polish farmers began to empty grain from Ukrainian trucks that crossed the border.
