Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council, Lieutenant Andrei Kovalenko pointed to two directions where the Russian occupation forces could go on the offensive in early summer.

On the air of the project “About the war” Kovalenko said that “ the second army of the world is preparing a new offensive at the beginning of summer. In his opinion, the Russian occupiers will launch an attack in the direction of Chasovoy Yar and Ugledar in the Donetsk region, NBN reports.

The head of the Center for Operational Action noted that Putin’s troops also intend to reach Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. Now the enemy is testing the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of ​​the village of Sinkovka, Kupyansky district in the Kharkov region.

The expert confirmed that the Russian Armed Forces are preparing an offensive for May-June and will try to advance throughout the summer. Despite the upcoming large-scale operation, the enemy does not accumulate reserves during March-April, but on the contrary continues to actively fight.

Kovalenko explained this with the intention of the Russian invaders to “get through somewhere” during the period of shortage of ammunition in the Defense Forces due to for delays in Western military assistance.

Earlier, ISW commented on the plans of Putin’s army for the beginning of summer. Analysts have indicated the direction in which the Russians could launch a large-scale offensive.
