According to the Gauleiter of the Crimean Peninsula Sergei Aksenov, on May 9 the military parade of the Russian-occupation forces will be canceled troops, and the procession of the “Immortal Regiment”, which was provoked by “security issues”.
In addition, regarding the similar cancellation of parades and similar events on May 9, for identical “security reasons”, local authorities informed authorities in a number of regions of the Russian Federation—in particular, in the Kursk, Bryansk, Belgorod, Ryazan and Pskov regions.
It should be noted that last year, demonstrations on May 9 were canceled in ;23 regions of the Russian Federation.
