German media write that the ruling coalition of Germany has prepared a secret proposal for additional transfer of shells, vehicles and weapons for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The new package of military aid to Ukraine from Germany may include Taurus cruise missiles, which Kiev has long been asking for from Berlin.

The German tabloid Bild writes that this week the German government should vote on a new package of military assistance for Ukrainians, NBN reports.
Journalists note that the project does not directly mention the supply of long-range Taurus missiles, but does mention the provision of additional long-range weapons systems and ammunition so that the Ukrainian Defense Forces can hit strategically important enemy targets in their deep rear.
The material clarifies that the Taurus cruise missiles, which Kiev has long been asking from Berlin, fit this description, since the weapon can hit targets at a distance of more than 500 km.
Earlier, the head of the German government, Olaf Scholz, tried make excuses for the delay in transferring Taurus missiles to Ukraine.
