Over the past 24 hours, power engineers have recorded a significant shortage of electricity in the system due to large-scale damage after Russian attacks on Ukrainian power plants.

O that on the evening of this Thursday, April 18, the business sector and some industrial facilities in the country should expect the implementation of energy supply limitation schedules, writes NBN, citing the Ukrenergo Telegram channel.
How It became known that during the morning and the first half of the day on Thursday, the control center was forced to attract emergency assistance from the power systems of the EU member states.
With the goal of avoiding such expensive assistance, this evening, from 6 o’clock to ;10 hours, business and industry will be subject to schedules that limit power consumption. However, such measures will not affect critical infrastructure facilities or enterprises of the military-defense complex.
Ukrenergo again called on all household consumers to approach electricity consumption with economy, and industry needs to be careful ;to attract the import of electricity with maximum efforts, and also to more actively launch alternative power sources, that is, generators and identical equipment.
