Tributes are pouring in following the death of Chuck Norris, the legendary actor and martial artist known for his roles in Walker, Texas Ranger and films including The Delta Force and The Expendables 2, reports Baltimore Chronicle with reference to ABC. Norris passed away Thursday morning at the age of 86. On social media, co-stars Sylvester Stallone and Jean-Claude Van Damme shared photos and memories, praising his skill, dedication, and character. Stallone posted a photo of the two on the set of Expendables 2, writing, “I had a great time working with Chuck. He was All American in every way. Great man and my condolences to his wonderful family.” Van Damme added, “Deepest condolences on the passing of my friend, Chuck Norris. We knew each other from my early days, and I always respected the man he was. He will never be forgotten.”

Dolph Lundgren also honored Norris on Instagram, calling him a role model who exemplified respect, humility, and strength. Norris became a household name for his portrayal of Cordell Walker in the television series Walker, Texas Ranger, which aired for nine seasons from 1993 to 2001. Other public figures, including Guy Fieri and Piers Morgan, shared nostalgic images and messages celebrating his iconic career. Author Stephen King and actress Gina Carano also posted tributes, highlighting Norris’ lasting impact on fans and fellow performers.

Outside of acting, Norris was a father of five. He had two sons, Mike Norris, 63, and Eric Norris, 60, with his ex-wife Diane Holechek, and twins Dakota Alan Norris and Danilee Kelly Norris, 24, with his wife Gena O’Kelley, whom he married in 1998. In 2004, he publicly acknowledged another daughter, Dina Norris DiCiolli, who reached out to him after years of estrangement; they developed a close relationship over time.

Danilee Kelly Norris shared a heartfelt tribute on social media, reflecting on her father’s love and influence. She described him as both a protector and a man of profound tenderness, expressing gratitude for the example of compassion and strength he instilled. Her message emphasized the deep bond between father and daughter, and her enduring love and respect for his memory.

Norris’ legacy spans decades of film, television, and martial arts achievement, leaving an indelible mark on both Hollywood and fans worldwide. Flowers were left at his Hollywood Walk of Fame star, which was awarded in December 1989, following the news of his passing on March 20, 2026.
