Express Prime Minister Azarov will be tried for treason, calls for the overthrow of the constitutional order and justifying aggression, an indictment against the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov and his assistant in the Russian Federation This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.</p> <p>The investigation established that the former Prime Minister of Ukraine, while on the territory of the aggressor state, created a Telegram channel. There he posted propaganda publications with Kremlin narratives that form anti-Ukrainian sentiments in society mood.</p> <p>The administration of the Telegram channel was carried out by two assistants of the ex-official. One of them held the position of head of the organizational department in the capital's district state administration. Her case is already under consideration by the court.</p> <p>Another assistant is a former employee of the same Regional State Administration, who has currently left for the territory of the Russian Federation.</p> <p>The accomplices together coordinated the information propaganda activities of the ex-prime minister on the Telegram channel, as well as in other social networks, and helped organize and disseminate anti-Ukrainian interviews and comments to Russian media.</p> <p>Maintaining active ties with the ex-president minister and his entourage, women contributed to information and subversive activities, which are coordinated by representatives of the Russian special services and aimed at discrediting the current government in the international arena.</p> <p>They did not stop helping the aggressor state even after a full-scale invasion. </p> <p>The forensic psychological and linguistic examinations of the published materials fully confirm the facts of the illegal activities of the defendants.</p> <ul> <li>In November last year, the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov was informed of a new suspicion. </li> <li>The SBU has identified two of Azarov’s assistants who ran his telegram channel. One of them holds the position of head of the organizational department in the capital's district state administration.
