Ukrainians were removed from the round-robin for the first time in the history of the mixed relay of the Biathlon World Cup.
On Sunday, March 3, the seventh stage of the Biathlon World Cup 2023/24 in Holmenkollen, Norway, ended with the classic mixed relay.
The Ukrainian team was to be represented in this race by Irina Petrenko, Anna Krivonos, Artem Prima and Taras Lesyuk.
However, our team failed to finish. Already at the second stage, the “blue-yellows” were eliminated as round-robins. Krivonos earned three penalty loops and allowed the race leader from the French team to get ahead of Ukraine by a lap.
