The Ukrainian women's sabre fencing team is the 2024 Paris Olympic champion.
Ukraine won its first “gold” at the 2024 Olympic Games. The Ukrainian sabre fencers triumphed in the team tournament, defeating the South Korean team in the final.
The Olympic champions were Olga Kharlan, Olena Kravatska, Alina Komashchuk and Yulia Bakastowa.
After the victory, an awards ceremony was held and for the first time at the 2024 Games in Paris, the Ukrainian anthem was played.

“Gold” in the team sabre – Ukraine’s third medal at the 2024 Olympics. Earlier, Kharlan won bronze in the individual sabre championship, and Serhiy Kulish won silver in shooting.
Another award at the 2024 Olympics, at least bronze, was guaranteed for Ukraine by Oleksandr Khizhnyak, who reached the semi-finals of the boxing tournament.
The Games in Paris will last until August 11. Ukraine is represented at the XXXIII Summer Olympics by 140 athletes competing in 23 sports.
