The Romans confidently earned three points in their first match under Ivan Yuric.
Roma of Ukrainian forward Artem Dovbyk defeated Udinese on their home field in the match 5th round of the Italian Serie A 2024/25 season. The match at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome ended with a score of 3:0.
The hosts took the lead in the 19th minute of the match – Dovbyk received a pass from Stephan El Shaarawy, entered the penalty area and shot right into the far bottom corner.
At the beginning of the second half, the “wolves” doubled their advantage – Paulo Dybala converted a penalty.
The score became devastating in the 70th minute – Tommaso Baldanzi, who had come on as a substitute a minute before, played with Dovbyk and pushed the ball past the opponent’s goalkeeper.
Artem played the entire match on the field, scoring a goal and an assist. Thus, the 27-year-old Ukrainian has already scored two goals and made one assist in five matches for the Romans in the current Serie A.
It should be noted that the match against Udinese was the debut as head coach of the Roman club for Ivan Juric, who replaced Daniele De Rossi.
