Mexican Leon midfielder James Rodriguez has expressed his opinion on the achievements of Brazilian left winger Neymar.
“For me, if it weren't for Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar would have three Ballons d'Or, but he had to compete with these beasts,” Rodriguez said.
It should be added that Neymar and two other players have been excluded from the Brazil national team's roster for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Colombia and Argentina.
