Jack Osbourne is paying tribute to his late father, legendary Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, seven months after his passing in July 2025, reports Baltimore Chronicle via GMA. The reality TV personality and his wife, Aree Osbourne, welcomed a baby girl on March 5, 2026, naming her Ozzy Matilda Osbourne in honor of her grandfather.
Jack shared the announcement via Instagram, posting a black-and-white photo of the newborn peacefully asleep. Beside her, a sign displayed her full name, birth date, weight (7 pounds, 12 ounces), and length (19 inches), providing fans a first glimpse of the newest member of the Osbourne family.
This marks the second child for Jack and Aree Osbourne, who are already parents to daughter Maple, born in July 2022. Jack also has three older children with his former wife Lisa Stelly; the couple was married from 2012 until their divorce in 2019.
Since Ozzy Osbourne’s death last July, the family has been publicly mourning the heavy metal icon, whose influence on music and pop culture has been celebrated worldwide. At the 2026 Grammy Awards, Jack, alongside his sister Kelly Osbourne and mother Sharon Osbourne, reflected on the late rock star’s enduring legacy. Jack noted, “It’s a testament to his talent and magic,” while Sharon added, “The magic he put on other people, and everyone Ozzy touched — he did well.”
Ozzy Osbourne, diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, first captured public attention as the frontman of Black Sabbath and later reached a new audience through reality television in the early 2000s. His impact continues to resonate with fans and musicians alike, inspiring both personal tributes and public celebrations of his life and work.
