Tomorrow, January 1, moderate rain is possible in the western and northern regions. The country is foggy in places.
RBC-Ukraine writes about this with reference to the Ukrainian hydrometeorological center.
“Cloudy with clearings. Moderate rain in the western, daytime and northern and Vinnytsia regions; in Transcarpathia and the Carpathians there is significant rain and sleet in places; no precipitation in the rest of the territory,” the press service writes.
In the central and southern regions there is fog in places at night and in the morning
It is noted that the wind is predominantly southerly, 5-10 m/s, with gusts of 15-20 m/s in places in the Carpathians.
Temperature:
- in the west it will fluctuate from -1 to +4 at night and from +4 to +7 during the day;
- in the north it will fluctuate from -2 to +1 at night and from +2 to +6 during the day;
- in the south it will fluctuate from 0 to +4 at night and from +8 to +11 during the day;
- in the east it will fluctuate from -2 to +2 at night and from +2 to +5 during the day.

Weather in Kyiv and the region
“Cloudy with clearings. No precipitation at night, rain during the day. South wind, 5-10 m/s,” the press service writes.
Temperatures in the region at night range from -2 to +3, and during the day from +2 to +7. Meanwhile, in Kyiv at night it’s about 0, and during the day from +4 to +6.
Snow avalanche danger
Significant snow avalanche danger (level 3), due to precipitation, is expected on January 1 in the highlands of the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
In particular, moderate snow avalanche danger (level 2) is maintained:
- December 31 – in the highlands of the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
- December 31-January 1 – in the highlands of the Transcarpathian region.
