Photo Thanks to the cooperation of the Kiev Regional State Administration with international partners, the region received high-quality equipment and medical products for healthcare institutions worth almost UAH 11 million.
As Ukrinform reports, the press service of KODA reported this in a Telegram.
“Our international partners supported the region’s medical industry with about 11 million hryvnia. Thanks to such assistance, we can direct budget resources to other important needs, and there are many of them in the actively recovering Kiev region. We are grateful to international organizations and foundations for their cooperation and steps for our development,” said KODA Deputy Chairman Lesya Karnaukh.
As noted, hospitals in the Kiev region received from partners, in particular: 63 oxygen concentrators; about 30 ventilators, including those for equipping the “Chamber of Heroes”. The region is also expecting the transfer of 10 QIAstat-Dx Analyzers with a total value of $250 thousand from United Help Ukraine, a key partner that provided the largest amount of medical equipment. Such analyzers are, in fact, a PCR laboratory in one device.
In addition, the UNICEF foundation donated more than 10 thousand reservoirs. Thus, healthcare institutions in the Kyiv region are provided with constant access to purified drinking water for uninterrupted functioning.
According to the press service, such cooperation takes place within the framework of the work of the Regional Office for International Cooperation. ROMS is an initiative of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine, aimed at developing interaction between local and regional authorities with international partners seeking to cooperate at the regional and territorial community level.
As Ukrinform reported, according to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, in healthcare institutions will deliver 50 more generators in case of power outages.
