The law on increasing taxes in Ukraine will come into force on December 1, but a number of adjustments will be made to it.
Several provisions adopted in the law on increasing taxes may be adjusted in the near future in Ukraine.
This was announced by Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko at a press conference.
“We are not going to make retroactive tax introductions. I hope that the provisions that are now in the tax law (planned to be introduced – ed.) from October 1 will be adjusted in the near future,” Marchenko said.
According to Marchenko, after the law is signed by the president, there will be another law adjusting it.
“That is, all the necessary changes will come into force on December 1, 2024,” the minister said.
Recall that the laws on the state budget for 2025 and on changes to the tax code will be signed in the coming days and will come into force on December 1.
Note that on October 10, the Verkhovna Rada voted in the second reading for a bill providing for a significant increase in taxes and military tax.
