Ukraine will switch to summer time on March 31, on the night from Saturday to Sunday. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.
The clock hands will be moved forward an hour at 3 a.m.

Daylight saving time is introduced annually, from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October, “in order to effectively use the daylight hours,” the press service of the Ministry of Economy reports.
“ The introduction of summer time is a common international practice. In the European Union, Directive 2000/84/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19.01.2001 on the transition to summer time is in force, according to which the EU member countries have introduced a calculation procedure on their territories: switch to summer time from the end of March and to winter time at end of October,” the ministry said in a statement.
The transition to winter time will take place on the last Sunday in October – at 4 o’clock (the clock will be set back 1 hour).
