The G7 countries will agree on a plan to allocate $50 billion to Ukraine by October using Russian assets, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said, Reuters reports.

“Constructive negotiations took place. We are working closely to move this initiative forward. I think it looks good that we will be able to do this, probably before October,” the minister said.
Ellen added that Washington is seeking guarantees from Europe that Russian assets will remain frozen for a long time.
