Pope addresses faithful after three-week hospitalization

Pope Francis has recorded an audio message for the first time in three weeks since his hospitalization to the faithful who gather daily in St. Peter's Square in the Vatican. As reported by IZ with reference to Vatican News, the pontiff's health remains stable, and he thanked everyone for their prayers and support. The message was broadcast on March 7 during evening prayer in the square in front of the Vatican.

It is known that the Pope had a restful night and woke up after 8:00. Doctors reported that the condition of the pontiff is stable, with no signs of respiratory failure. Francis continues respiratory and motor physiotherapy with a favorable effect. The Pope alternated between rest and work, having no fever. His address was recorded in Spanish and broadcast at the beginning of the prayer.

Every evening since February 24, cardinals, Vatican officials and pilgrims have gathered in St. Peter's Square to pray for the Pope's health. They pray at 9 p.m. local time. The pontiff's words have been an important support for the faithful, who have not stopped praying for his speedy recovery and return to duties.
